Fakeout from CIVIX Information Literacy

Text from image above:

FakeOut - Your social media feed has been infected by false information. Your job is to learn the skills of verification, so you can sort fact from fiction - in the game, and in real life. To play the game, review each post, and choose "thumbs up" if you think it's true, and "thumbs down" if you think it's false. It's not always easy to tell the difference. Be careful and good luck!

Test what you've learned

The following three tabs have links to web sources that may, or may not be true. Use the skills you've developed to assess the veracity of their claims and be prepared to discuss why you believe the information is accurate, or it is not correct. We'll tell you when we're ready to start this activity, so no peeking!
